Solved 5sec delay on calls

What generally causes a 5sec delay on phone calls? Using newest 3cx with the pbx cloud hosted and using Fanvil phones. Sophos firewall in the network but it's not denying any outbound ports.

Delay for voice I assume? Does it happen on internal calls or just external? Is an SBC being used?

Disabling sip alg in the router fixed it. Wondering what else can cause it or I guess that's the biggest reason.

SIP ALG is never your friend, so keep it disabled all the time

It could be anything from DNS issues to (you guessed it) SIP-ALG messing with your signalling.
