While PBX features to handle 911, under normal circumstances, may work, legally, these are not normal circumstances,(and hopefully), won't go on too long. Users are taking their normally
office desk bound phone, home. This is going to require some work, to meet the letter of the law, or the law may be relaxed (you would have to check with authorities), as not all systems can accommodate the new 911 locations.
If a user, out of the office, placed a 911 call, using their 3CX App...how would that work, legally? Obviously, there has to be some common sense involved as well, as not e
very possible situation, can be anticipated or accommodated.
It's one thing to require that you can dial 911, from a device using no prefix, another to require the exact location of that device.
