I have a few mobile phones connected to our 3CX via a SIP extension at our phonecompany. The mobile phones are connected as a regular SIP extension to the 3CX (just as any other IP phone), with their own local number, and when that is dialed, the 3CX contacts the phone company as if it was a normal SIP extension. The invite goes from eg. 801@my3CXip to 811@ipOfThePhonecompanysServer.
While that is working perfect when in the country, then when roaming abroad its being blocked now, as operators apparently have started to block calls from "strange" a-numbers (eg. in my case its being transferred to the outside operator as 801@my3CXip.
I am being told by the phone company, that the solution to this, is to make sure to use a "valid" a-number as the caller ID (eg. 88112233@my3CXip), but to my knowledge thats not possible to change when its technically a local call between two local SIP extensions on the 3CX?
Does anybody have any experience with a situation like this, or know if it is possible to use eg. SIP ID to force another id on the local call (which in turn is a external call routed via the operator)?
