Accessing one Analog Line

Hi,

I was wondering how to set this up:
I have 4 PSTN lines connected to a Patton. I want to optionally be able to have clients make outgoing calls through one particular PSTN lines when dialing a certain prefix. The issue is that I don't know how to automatically select one of the 4 PSTN. So, how can I achieve it that if e.g. clien dials #*1, it automatically picks one particular line PSTN line ?

This is quite a common request on the forums and unfortunately not the simplest of solutions as some manual adjustment to the provisioning template is required.

Although you already have a Patton, this probably won't be of much interest, but in the event someone else stumbles across this post... some Grandstream FXO Gateways, by design, allow you to send a prefix to specify which line is to be used.

Sorry for delay in response .I have a Patton SN4114/JO/EUI .But it seems the Grandstream is the soloutin to that issue

Not really if you have the right template for this setup for the Patton which I certainly have myself. If you to know how this is done let me know.

Been working on this guide since this subject has been raised several times recently, please feel free to have a go with it.

Attached also is the pre-configured template for the Smartware based FXO units.
