Hello,

I was in a rush managing some calls in 3CX WebClient and accidentally clicked on "Clear" extension
Screenshot 2020-10-26 144657.gif

Now, the extension appears to no longer be configured, recordings are gone.
What can I do to undo this, reintegrate the extension and retrieve all the recordings?

I am using 3CX Enterprise on Private Cloud (Amazon Lightsail).

Thanks,

All 2+ years of call recordings of this extension appear to have disappeared from the external Google Cloud Archive aswell.

Please help.

The only way is restore a backup. As for archived recordings, they're probably lost.

If you do not use this feature, I would remove the rights from the user to prevent this for happening again.

Thank you for the reply.
This is very bad news.

I can't believe that there is one single button on the Web Client in the same menu as "set Status" that deletes all recordings, including external archives on Google Cloud without any warning.

What is/where is the right to allow/disallow this function?

Ahh - "Check In/Check Out"... LOL!

So a receptionist can delete several years of archived recordings?

This function is meant for hotels. You would clear the recordings for a room that has checked out but it would probably be 1-2 recordings. Not years worth.

Just disable the right as it shouldn't be enabled if you don't want it.
