As the title states, I was wondering if there was a way inside the admin console to acquire the soft phone config file that gets emailed out with the welcome email.

The reason for this is we use an outsourced call center, and they won't be using any of the email features of the system. It would be easier to get the config file, download and save, name it the reps name and place it on a share for their IT to have as a repository.

Right now I have a generic email on our system set for all the users and their welcome files are going there, but a direct download or some place central to access them without email involved would make things easier.

Thanks in advance.

Have you looked at the new web client ? - does not need any setup, Except to enable it within the console -

Not aware of tricks to get the config file , except the welcome email.

The webclient is awesome, but it still requires a configured Windows soft phone. I don't think you can provision a softphone from the web login. I'm just looking for an easy way to snag a config file, but unless there is a different way, a generic catch all email address is a decent workaround.

Hello @jmatano

Currently the only ways to provision a 3CX client is through the welcome email or the QR code for mobile devices with cameras. If the PBX is local in the network you can also provision a client using PnP. In your scenario i believe the best way is by using the generic email address.
