'Add contact to Department' option in 3CX Multi-tenant

Hello,

I've got a multi-tenant 3CX instance (Version 20.0 Update 8 (Build 1109 Release) and I notice that I have the option to 'add contact to department'.

Is this a per-tenant phonebook?

That is correct, the tenant that belongs to that department will be able to see those contacts.

No, this is not possible. A member of the department, such as a manager, will add a contact to the department they are a member of, but the system owner will not be able to change that

No, this is not possible. A member of the department, such as a manager, will add a contact to the department they are a member of, but the system owner will not be able to change that

Are you sure about this or is it that I don't understand your answer. I am "able" as the system owner to add contacts to the departments in MT.

As the system owner you can manage the whole system which is down for you to assign. The tennant owner 'system owner' role is for you to assign and manage and give them the role required if they want to administrate things.

For me the roles need to be more scalable, even in the non tennant situation, as it used to be and not locked into what for me is a random amount of privileges.

The last thing needed is the MOH per department and then its fully sellable.
