Hi,

In V18 I was able to add an inbound number range to a SIP Trunk and a Ring Group by adding an Asterisk * after the first set of numbers, so the number range 61299354600 to 61299354699 could be input as 612993546*. Those types of entries are still in our system and still seem to work... If I try and do this in V20 now, it does not work. How do I do this? I've resorted to doing the bulk import for the SIP trunk but how do I do the same for the Ring Group. What am I missing?

Thanks.

DIDs can be assigned though an import in the SIP trunks.

The format of the import CSV is: +61290000000,102,new DID name

The format is : DID number, destination,DID name

This will allow you to allocate a DID to any internal destination. Just ensure that the destination is already created.

Why take away something that was so simple in an earlier version?

You can still add this in that format with the * if you need to.

Then just go and assign it to the destination you need.

Those 10 numbers however will still be going to that one destination though. It is a lot more flexible if you define each DID to go to a different destination.

It won't let me save it with an asterisk, how do you do that?

To clarify, this will work in Update 6. If you are running the RC version of Update 6 this will work. If you are on Update 5 just wait for Update 6 to be released. It should not be long now.

Thanks. We have Version 20.0 Update 5 (Build 551 Release) and it says we are up to date.
