Add IP phone on Debian 3CX

I build a 3CX system and wanted to add cisco IP phones on that. According to 3CX instruction, I was unable to find the path for updating the firmware in the Debian 3CX since the console showed system running. Is there any solution to add an IP phone on the Debian 3CX?

XXXXXX is the randomly generated folder name of 8 to 12 characters.

The console keeps showing running and I was unable to use a command to access that folder. Does the 3CX Debian have a GUI or terminal where I could type commands?

You can connect to the server using SSH with PuTTY for Windows. Also WinSCP works well for transferring files over SFTP.

Thanks for your response. What is the port number for SSH? Should I use 22 or 5001 with the management account?

SSH and SFTP will use port 22 normally. You will should login with the username "root" and the password you configured for it during installation.

Depends on local network setup. What device or system is providing DHCP on your local network?

You would not configure it on your 3CX Linux, but on your firewall or DHCP server.

Thanks for your response. Is the DHCP option 66 necessary? I found the DHCP server in my office switch but I cannot configure to DHCP 66.
Besides, if the cisco IP phone firmware is later than 8.5.4, should I go back the firmware to 8.5.4?

Option 66 is needed so they can automatically find the PBX and provision themselves.

You should use the firmware version we tested and confirmed working.
