A few days ago I installed fresh 3CX (3CXPhoneSystem31.exe) on the x64 computer. And I got the bug. Links "Add PSTN" and "Add VOIP" were accessible but dysfunctional (web-console hung). I thought it was x64-related bug.

But I have another instance on another computer. It was installed from the 3cxphonesystem3.exe package and PSTN gateway was created successfully. Then I upgraded by the 3CXPhoneSystem31.exe package. Server status indicated 3.0.2328.0 after upgrade.

I have deleted PSTN gateway, tried to create a new gateway, and got the same bug.

If I click "Add PSTN" or "Add VOIP" then the console hangs.

Can not create VoiP gateway

I might have the same problem.

I downloaded the latest free version today.

Installed it on a pc (Windows XP Pro, Celeron and 2GB of memory).
Everything is working fine.

Installed it on a server (Windows 2003, Xeon and 1GB of memory.)
Adding extensions is very slow.
I am not able to add a VoIP gateway.
The console is hanging.

Do you have an internet connection while clicking on Add VOIP or Add PSTN? Currently it requires that to get the latest VOIP provider and VOIP Gateway template definitions...

Internet connection for the Add PSTN function?

If you familiar to config the PSTN gateway. You can select the "Custom Generic Gateway Device". It will be bypass the internet connection to get the latest VOIP provider and VOIP Gateway template definitions.

Hi hcv,

Have you installed "Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration"? If yes. Please try to uninstalled it. And let see it works or not at W2K3 server.

"Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration" isn't the option in my case on MS Windows 2000 Prof.

I've tried to use the "Add PSTN" link under "Manage Gateways & Providers" with the same effect because URL is the same: ... /pstn_gateway.php

Hi VladislavA,

I would like to know that use the "Add PSTN" link under "Manage Gateways & Providers" to add the gatway. Can the system show the page to prompt the name of gateway and "Choose a gateway model"?

Firewall settings

Thanks for your advice.

The firewall blocks some traffic to the internet. Only traffic that comes from an anonymous source. It probably is a 3CX service requesting the latest VoIP provider and VoIP Gateway template definitions.

The problem has been solved using NAT proxy for the server.
Now I can create a new ISP definition.

I like to know what service wants to have access to the Internet.

Is it possible to run that service on a service account that has access to the Internet?
I want systems to be secure.
