adding a manually configured IP nased sip trunk to an on premises install (Rpi)

we are planning on rolling out some on premises Raspberry Pi installs and were wondering is it possible to add a manually configured sip trunk to the on premises install as such things aren't possible with hosted 3cx.

Any pointers appreciated.

Note : raspberry PI are no longer supported , cannot install latest version of 3cx. look at nuc devices that support Debian 10

if you host your own 3cx server , internally or cloud - yes you can have manually configured sip trunks

Yes, you can manually add and configure an IP-based SIP trunk in 3CX (I've done so). Make sure that you get proper documentation and configuration information from the SIP provider otherwise you will have a lot of trouble getting it working.

There is an example on the Whirlpool forums for configuring a TPG IP-based trunk with 3CX. The person was using 3CX on Windows so you will need to make the necessary adjustments if you use Linux.
