Adding a Q-SYS softphone as the main phone number

I am using a Q-SYS Nano softphone to be the main device to receive and make VoIP calls. The softphone is online and can make calls out. Inbound calls get answered by the virtual operator. How can the softphone be the main receiver of incoming calls?

No idea on that, I would suggest you use the softphone or web client provided by 3CX.

Did you setup a Generic phone to get this to work? The only way I can get it to connect is without registering it to the Proxy but then it doesn't dial. I am kinda stuck here.

Why you are not using the 3CX Clients?
Any 3rd party client is not supported and can cause other issues that you are unaware.

Q-SYS is a very popular conferencing solution that can handle SIP phones as one of the means of communication.

Some of our customers have 3CX and have asked if we can integrate a user into the Q-SYS environment. I have not been able to get it working which is why I was asking the person above what they did.

Many 3CX competitors work with this system (link below) so what I’m trying to do should be possible in 3CX?

I cannot confirm if this will work or not with 3CX as this is not a client that we test or support.
However and to be honest, i do not understand the reason to use a 3rd party client since 3CX is offering so many clients solutions(Web Client, Desktop App, PWA, new V20 Softphone, Mobile apps).
