HI All

I have currently built the Credit Card capture in CFM thanks to everyones excellent feedback

One issue we have encountered is that we need to add a front end process to actually link the credit capture to our order on our ERP / Payment system?#

Currently a call is taken for an order and this is placed in our ERP system and linked via our payment gateway. Whilst on the call, the customer is put through to the credit card call flow to take their card details but there is nothing in the current call flow to link this payment back to this order reference?

Is there an option to create these details within the current credit card option? So for example, this would be for order 12345 is £60 so the capture would be for the customer to pay £60 and then this would update through the payment gateway / API for this particular order? Wouldnt the call flow capture need to reference this somewhere as if the customer enters the correct card but dont have the balance to fulfil the £60 then it should get rejected ?? But how would they know to pay the £60 ?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

The processing itself should be done within a secure backend that uses the credit card information only once. That's the backend that should know what amount to bill.

Good Afternoon
Thank you for the response thats very helpful

So I would be correct in assuming that there would be no other option in CFM as part of the Credit Card capture build that would allow the order number and amount to be 'captured' alongside the credit card details?

Our internal process at the moment has a customer phoning and placing an order, our CS agent would launch the payment page within our ERP system via a payment page. The CS agent would take their payment details over the phone in person and enter them into the available fields (card number, expirty, CVC etc), and then they would click CONFIRM and the payment would process through our APi which would insert the order ref, cost etc and an email sent to them for confirmation once validated. Here is our API data - as you can see the top few rows (above the *) contain the auto-populated order and value data :-

{

"amount": {

"currency": "GBP",

"value": 10

},

"reference": "Your order number",

**********************************************************************

"paymentMethod": {

"type": "scheme",

"number": "4111111111111111",

"expiryMonth": "03",

"expiryYear": "2030",

"holderName": "John Smith",

"cvc": "737"

},

"returnUrl": "https://your-company.com/...",

"merchantAccount": "Company Merchant Acc'

}

For the automated capture through CFM, again, is there an optoin that I can build into the call flow (perhaps before the card capture process) that the customer could enter the order number and value ? Otherwise Im not sure how the payment will link back to the order in our order system?

Any further feedback would be much appreciated

Thanks
Jase
