Adding new Ringtone

i almost tried all the ways to add new ringtone, i think it is the only way to add a new ringtone is through edit xml file (template file) but the problem is i don't know what is the needed in file to be edited.
my IP phone is GXP2140

the issue is 3CX by default have only 3 custom ring tones, and when i manually add ring tons to phone it work fine for a while until 3CX do auto provision the phone again to get the phone back to the default ring tones

There's no custom ringtone on 3CX. Just the 3 built-in the GXP. Those are provided by Grandstream and 3CX simply added them so an old GXP phone can download them.

To prevent this, you have to go to your provisioning folder manually. There will be 3 "ringX.bin" and that's the one you need to remove.

also, i am adding generic VoIP gateway (GSM Gateway), the question is in the Trunk no. what i should but ? it is the SIM Card no. or another no. ?

The DID associated to the SIM card normally.
