Hi,

I appreciate all the help I am getting here! Thank you!

I have a second DID from FlowRoute that is set as an outgoing number. It works so far. However, when I call back that number, I get busy or beep or inactive sound. It doesn't connect. The DID starts with 304.

What do I need to do to get this number working, so callers can call both 1-833 number and the 304 (local) number?

Thank you,
Joel.

After trying a call to the DID, have a look at the 3CX Activity Log, to see, first of all, if the calls show up, and, if so, does the DID number sent match exactly (or you have used wildcards) , the number you have put in the DID rule.

I have put in the entire number for the second DID as well. I also followed the instructions as stated in the link given above. But, when I call the number it rings one time on my end, and then beep beep beep. Activity log doesn't show the call.

By wildcard, do you mean, I should put 304 or the entire number? The Article above says to put the entire number. So, I am not sure what is going on :)

Hi Joel,

If you don't see it in the activity log, try to enable Verbose logs (they are set to Low logs by default)

In case the call does not come in at all, you might have to take a look at the last step in the guide that advises you to check the Flowroute portal. It may be that the number is not configured right from their end and you will have to check it there before it reaches the PBX

A wildcard would be a * at the beginning of the DID rule number. It means ignore any prefix digits that your provider may be sending (toll access , or country code), and just do a match on the remaining digits, that you put after the *, which is usually the full number.
