Adding speed dials to Yealink template

Hi

I need some assistance with settings up a speed dial on the phone's provisioning template.
The speed dial can be set up on the phone via its web interface or buttons but when the phone reboots it looks at the provisioning file and removed the custom entries.

I have located the "Line Key" section on the template and entered the attached details and saved the template, I then reprovisioned the phone.
The key does show as a speed dial now but the value and label are not applying.
The speed dial that I am trying to set up is "call pick up" which is 20 I even tried adding other speed dial but it does not apply the value and label

On the other hand when I do the same to "Programmable Key" and change one of the keys the speed dial it works.

You enter the required keys settings, under BLF tab under Extensions. - Select custom speed dial.

You need to put the template back to the default settings

Thank you for the response.
Where do I find custom speed dial.on the template to add in the speed dial.
Under key list all shows (if blf) only.

The T40G has three programmable keys
1 - Line one (added to the template)
2 - Call pick up speed dial that I am trying to set up on the template
3 - BLF to extension xxx which is also added to the template and working

These can be defined from the extension settings, it's not necessary to modify the template.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong but if I add BLF's from the phone extension settings it does not show on the desk phone. it only shows on the softphone.
I also did change the line key settings back to default on the template.

The deskphone does not yet know that you made this change.

You need to go to the phones tab, select your phone for this extension, and press reprovision so the phone can learn about the changes you made.



Do not use the custom template, use our default templates to ensure that everything gets sent to the phone as intended.
