Hi,
Since the upgrade to V 16.0.5.612 when you start an Adhoc WebMeeting, nobody can join with an Error "meeting has not started!"
In fact if you check the meeting Start Date it is always the same:
Scheduled Meeting Date:5/3/2020, 2:15:28 AM

Does anyone face the same problem / found a resolution?
Thanks

Hi,

Please ignore the start date, it is not in any way related in this case.

How do you start the ad hoc meeting, and how do people try to join? Please explain the whole process in steps.

Thanks for coming back,
Tried from WebClient / WebMeeting and then Join
But also from 3CX Windows App Start a WebMeeting, both fail with the same error for joiners
People join using the default link for my Webmeeting

Yes it is the default Click2Meet Link
and yes I do join first to Open the meeting

Ok, I would recommend to restart your services then to force the PBX to resync to the 3CX servers.

Once it is up and running again, give it a moment to sync, and try again.

I will restart later today as there are many active calls right now and let you know.
Many Thanks,
Mohamed;

Hi John,
Restarted the service and it is working, thank you.
Sorry to be a pain,
I never been able to have the audio bridge to work, firewall ports tested and verified, codecs changed etc...do you have any guide line for investigations please?
thanks again,
Mohamed.

Yes, the audio bridge requires 2 things:

  • Firewall checker must pass on all ports
  • The PBX and MCU must be able to communicate on egress

  1. The person dialling in will need to reach the conference extension, and enter the conference ID of a previously scheduled meeting session
  2. You will see the webmeeting bridge join in the session, and you will also see the caller join the session (when you click Number of Calls in Use from management console)
