Admin password

I inherited a 3cx system and don't know the password. I've been told they have access to the email account for the admin, but when I try to login 3 times it says I have been locked out or try later. I don't get forgot password option. Please help. V16.0

Regarding your question, is this system a startup version with only management through a webclient of the mangers extension? or 3cx Hosted where a management console is available?

It is hosted on a Google cloud instance...I have full Linux access

I ask because the post was opened under the Startup section of the forum. You must enter the correct user name and incorrect password twice to reveal the forgot password link. Can you try this from a different public IP? But here, I recommend taking a full backup with the command line: https://www.3cx.com/docs/backup-restore-command-line/, moving the system to 3cx hosted, and switching off the google machine.
