since this update it's possible to search a contact using dial key (ex to search a contact starting with M you have to press 7 dial key)

is there a solution ?

Hi Math,
This issue was forwarded to Snom guys and we already have a fix for it.
Please update your phones to the new 8.9.3.88 version.
