All contacts were deleted after installing v20.0 Update 5 Build 527 Beta

Hello,

As per title, all contacts under System --> Phonebook were deleted after installing the latest 3cx Beta version.
How can we fix this? We have never exported the contacts so we don't have a backup file.

Use an old backup to restore the pbx. Beta istn for productive use.

This one I cannot replicate. I've imported 9000 contacts and upgraded but they are all still there.

If you have a 3CX Backup (not just a contact export) you can confirm that the contacts are there, you can restore the 3CX Backup to get them back

PS: Do keep in mind that Alpha and Beta releases are not meant for production, only for evaluation. You should always have 3CX backups going forward - especially before an upgrade of this type.

Hi John,

We do have 3cx backups. What I meant before is that we have never exported our entire phonebook on a csv file.
Is it possible to get the phonebook (.csv file) from a 3cx backup and then import it to our current running 3cx system?
Also, in the RC changelog which we have not installed yet there is no fix for the phonebook.
This would mean, that this kind of error could also be in the final 3cx update without a fix for us and also for other Admins.

You are the first one with this problem... Just restore your whole backup, the phonebook is in there.
