We have a setup where I have a group that multiple users need to monitor and listen to calls but I don't want those Managers to be able to listen to each other's calls. I have tried setting the Managers up in a separate group and give those Managers user only access to that group. However in order for me to allow a Manager to listen to a group they have to be a member of the group which then seems to open up the door to the other Managers also having access to listen to other Managers. Any ideas on how to limit whether an extension can be listened to?

Hello @Joe Summerlin

If i got it right, you can have multiple groups(one for each manager) with same user extensions and add only one manager per group.
To make it more clear consider the following setup.

Let's say, that you have User1, User2, User3, User4
And you also have Manager1, Manager2
And you want Manager1 and Manager2 to both be able to listen to calls of User1-4, but not calls of each other.

You can create two Groups. Let's say Group4Manager1 & Group4Manager2 with the following agents:
Group4Manager1: User1, User2, User3, User4, Manager1
Group4Manager2: User1, User2, User3, User4, Manager2

If this is not exactly what you want to achieve, please clarify. Just a note though for the above setup. If a user calls a Manager, then the other Manager will be able to listen to that call.

That seems to have done the trick thanks for the advice.
