Our call dispatchers need to be able to accept multiple calls at once from a ring group. So if they are on a call that came in on a Ring Group and another call comes in, they need to be able to get a notification that there is another call waiting. The phones have 3 Line Positions created and I also enabled "Accept Multiple Calls" but they are still not getting any notification that there is another call waiting for them. It doesn't really matter if I use a Ring Group or a Queue but I just need our dispatchers to be able to know if there is another call waiting in the ring group/queue. Currently they have BLF positions for every other person on the phone system and those blink when another call comes in and they can answer it by clicking on the blinking light but they receive no kind of notification. All we need is a beep of some sort so they know another call is coming in.

How can we accomplish this? I have tried everything I can think of.

RG and Q's dont follow "accept multiple calls" this is only for one to one calls.

You should use queues and utilise the 3CX client to show calls waiting.

Is there any way to have the 3CX client make a beep sound when another call comes into the Queue. The problem is that we are a dispatch center where one person needs to be able to take multiple calls at a time and the dispatchers work from home. They need to have access to both their personal extension and the dispatch one and accept multiple calls from each of them, which is why I thought Queues or Ring Groups would work fine.

Any suggestions? The only thing I can think of is create a new extension just for dispatching and make all the calls come into that and just add the 2nd extension to their phones.

What if you assigned multiple extensions to the client's phone and put those extensions in the ring group? Your current 3 line keys on the same extension become three unique extension / line keys

@Jeff Dodge Just want to mention that you are of course to implement any type of configuration you wish but, this specific one is unsupported by 3CX so do bear that in mind,

If we are looking at unsupported solutions, you could use a ringgroup and the ALLOWUSEBUSYOPTFORGROUP Custom Parameters. Not recommended.

To add to this, it is not only Not Recommended, it is a known fact that adding this parameter can cause issue with hung calls, transfer failures, etc.

The way I would put it is: Do it at your own risk
