Allowed County Codes / PIN protection

I have two questions regarding "Allowed Country Codes"

Question 1:
Is it possible to setup PIN protection for outbound phone calls to NOT Allowed Countries?
For example, country code +850 (North Korea) is not allowed (Admin Console >> Advanced >> Allowed Country Codes >> checkbox not set) but for some "emergency" reasons, we need to allow the phone call going to +850 code

Question 2:
Is it possible to have different "Allowed Country Codes" settings for different Departments?

Hi,

Allowed country codes is a global setting.

One way to achieve what you want is to use Outbound rules (after permitting the country). At the top have a rule dropping the country when dialed normally
eg. Prefix +357 - no routes
then add a rule for example Prefix 8765+357 , strip 4 digits, Trunk 1

This way anyone that knows to dial the 4 digit "PIN" before the number can make such calls.

Further restrictions to allowed departments OR extensions can help limit this to authorised team members only.

I feel like having the 'Allowed Country Codes' by department would be a fab idea to reduce the leg work involved with listed country codes in outbound rules

I've just tested this for you.

I blocked UK +44, had to turn off E164 numbering and create outbound rule for +44.

Made test call to +44<mymobile> and it was blocked.

Added +44<mymobile> to emergency number and it called out.

So, if it is indeed for emergency purposes, I would go this way.
