We have a weird situation and have narrowed this down to the 3CX system.

We have one user in particular, a cell phone caller, that cannot call into our system. We have even tried the primary and secondary inbound DID numbers, both react the same.

User calls into either DID, and the call immediately is ended on their end (within 1 second). When looking at the call logs, we can see the call there and it is simply "ended" after 1 second, sometimes 2 seconds.

We have checked the Blacklisted Number area, and none are there. We have even confirmed with our SIP Trunk provider and they confirmed they are not blocking it.

All other external calls, even from that carrier (T-Mobile) come through just fine. Caller is a local US caller as well, and could call in just fine prior to July 2024 for years.

Just bumping this up to see if anyone can help... thank you!

Where is this call being sent to? To a queue? To a user?

In addition to the Blacklisted numbers page, also check if they have a Caller ID rule set with their number and is set to End the call.

If it is to a user, check if the user has an exception rule that sends them to end call (send busy)

The call, like all other incoming calls, is in-fact being sent to an IVR digital receptionist.

For troubleshooting, I just now setup an inbound CID rule to forward the call directly to my extension instead of the queue. This worked! So for some reason maybe the IVR receptionist setting is dropping the call, but I can't find any rules or settings to check for this.
