Hi,
we have a door system which is an analogue phone setup, however we'll need this to talk to 3CX. The issue is, our 3CX instance is in the cloud, it's not locally on our network. All the devices i've looked at on https://www.3cx.com/voip-gateways/ all say they need to be on the same subnet, therefore i'm not sure what the solution would be? are there any supported 3CX analogue to IP gateway's that would do what we need?

Kind regards,

Hi Matt,

We use Grandstream HT801. Not supported but work fine.

Hi Han Solo,

thanks for the quick response! ah perfect, yeah looks like exactly what we need!

i don't suppose you'd mind sharing your config with me? just so when it comes in, I have a guide on what I need to set up?

thanks again, may the force be with you

Grandstream Gateway and ATA devices are set to be supported in the next SP release.

Despite this however the method of setup you are trying to do is completely un-supported - unless of course using a VPN connection.

With that being said I have successfully setup Gateway and ATA devices to cloud 3CX systems via SBC and STUN, SBC would be my preferred method out of the 2 as it is simpler and offers better security.

Create an extension, then enter the below details on the Grandstream;

Primary SIP Server ( Your 3CX Public )
SIP User ID ( Extension Number )
Authen ID and Password of extension in management console
Name Optional
