Ok, here's another odd problem. Running V8 RC1, 24 user license.
Set up 2 extensions to forward to external number.
Caller calls in, DR picks up. If caller enters extension number (144) the system
immediately rejects the call, saying "Call Transfer Failed, Extension is Busy". However,
if the caller presses menu option "2" instead which is set up to call extension 144,
the external call will go through. Been fighting with this for 3 days. I have tried numerous
outbound rules but the server activity log always says 2 times: "There's no outbound rule for xxxxxxxxxx"
where xxxxxxxxxx is the external number to dial followed by: Attempt to reach <sip:[email protected]:5060> failed. Reason: Busy
Tried complete reinstall then restored backup, still doesn't work.
This only happens with calls coming in on the Patton 4114 going to the DR.
If another extension locally calls 144, then the external forwarding works.
(I've replaced the caller # with xxx-xxx-xxxx)
