Answering a regular cell call in the 3CX app

I have users claiming that sometimes they are presented with the option to open a regular cell phone call in the 3CX app on the cell phone, and sometimes they don't have this option. I'm not talking about calls to the 3CX system, but calls to the cell phone number. Is this a thing, and does it only work when it's a wifi call, or what's the criteria for making this function?

Emergency numbers if configured will be sent to the phone dialer. If this is not what they are talking about, can we know app version and if we are talking about Android or iOS?

According to what I've been told, this happened for two iphone users, and one Android user. The call comes in, they get the notification on the phone screen, and they have a choice to answer or answer in 3CX. I didn't see it happen, but all three of them swear it was an option. The app version would be brand new... we just put them on 3CX a week ago.

They most probably have their mobile phone in their user details on their 3CX account and the option "Also ring my mobile" - which creates an extra "normal" outgoing phone call to them.

If they have the 3CX app and it's setup and ringing properly that option is not needed to reach them on the road - might be useful for them though if they are traveling and are outside wifi / cheap mobile data reach, then the normal call could still reach them fine.

You can choose how to set them up depending on the individual use case.
