Any thoughts on Yealink SIP-T46U

going to upgrade phones at shop any thoughts on this one
right now i have all different ones yealink t46s,fanvil xu5 cisco spa514,grandstream gpx2170 any thoughts
looking to move over to 46u

Great phone but doesn’t have sbc/router capabilities that the t54w has in comparison (or wifi or Bluetooth)

No, you don’t need an SBC on the same network. The 4x series is an older generation though.

The T5 and T4 series are not older/newer, they are just different lines of products.


In the past there was T46G, then replaced by T46S (which are the older T4 generations), and now replaced by the latest one the T46U. It replaces your existing T46S model which is now end-of-life

It's a solid phone with good features and audio quality like the T46S you have now but with some generational improvements which you can read about on Yealink's website.
