App disappears when clicking 'Keep on top'

I've recently encountered a repeatable issue with the 3CX Windows softphone app.

When I click on the "Keep on top" icon in the dialler section, the app disappears completely.

• Even with no other windows open, the 3CX window is no longer visible.
• The application still appears to be running in the system tray.
• Clicking the tray icon does not restore the app.
• Incoming call notifications still appear, and I can answer calls, but the UI remains hidden.

I was able to temporarily resolve this by reinstalling the app, but the issue returned within 24-48 hours.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I am using version 20.0.751.0 on 24H2.

It seems this issue is related to being connected to an external monitor/hub.

When it is not connected, the issue does not occur.
