Solved Are Yealink T58W and T58W Pro phones video camera support

I am considering ordering a couple of Yealink T58W and T58W Pro phones for evaluation for possible use in an upcoming project. These phones are available with and without video camera. Is the video camera on these phones supported and useful with 3CX V20?

Indeed, this was also possible in V18 and our 3CX applications do support VP8,9 and H.264.

I have a pair of the Yealink SIP-T58W Pro phones equipped with the USB cameras. 3CX supports these phones - including the video calling functions - right out of the box. These phones run the Android OS and that's how they ship from Yealink. You don't need to install anything extra.

No, you should not need to install 3CX applications on the actual phone, but the phone should use the video codec already.
