I see threads like this one https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/record-all-calls-fails-when-forwarded-to-mobile.63903/ with support indicating that RTP is not kept in the PBX for forwarded calls.

However when I take pcaps from the PBX I can see it is still acting as a proxy for the audio (I have PBX delivers audio in the extension if that makes a difference), that is, the RTP both directions is in fact in the capture, even after pressing 1 to accept the call.

Is there a way I can force the recordings for these calls to display in the administrative recordings access even if it's not in the individual extension's recordings? The audio is in the PBX for sure it's just not being recorded, or maybe not associated with anything and either discarded or simply not viewable in the recordings list of the admin console.

Hi Phlobot

Which use-case? Are you referring specifically to the scenario where Rebound is used?

Hi there, yes that's correct. I'm looking to preserve the recordings for calls connected via rebound.

Unfortunately that is not possible, we only record calls going to the extension devices (ie. deskphone/softphone).

The only exception is "Ring my mobile simultaneously" and is one way you can record calls going out of the system. Rebound will not record the call in any case.

PS: I will also update my older post to make corrections on the technical description because you are indeed correct as far as the audio being proxied.
