ATA through SBC?

I need to connect a couple of analog POTS phones, similar to connecting a fax machine, so I'm thinking an ATA. But, will someone please remind me, an ATA can route through an local LAN SBC assuming outbound proxy settings fields are available, right?

FWIW, changing out the analog phones is not an option.

Yes you can use the SBC. Just make sure to use a supported ATA.
