Does anyone know of any way to configure a Yealink T46G to ring audibly (where other people in the room can hear it) when you're on a call? We are moving from a Nortel system and the phones would ring even if you were on a call. This alerted the users to "pick up" your call. With the Yealink phones, our users only hear a faint beep with an incoming call (if they're already on the phone). The only other notification the other users would have would be a blinking BLF key. We would prefer, if at all possible, setting the phones to ring when on a call so the other users would know to pick up the call. Is there an option in the Yealink T46G phones to enable ringing when on a call?
I posted a message in the Yealink forum. Their suggestion was to adjust the call waiting settings, but that didn't have the desired effect.
Does anyone know if this is even possible?
