From what i can tell, there is no way to edit an audio conference in the web client that has been setup to a different time, but to use the same conference ID. If the meeting time has changed, one will need to delete the conference, and set up a new one correct? When will it be possible to edit a conference?

I have also noticed that people can call into a conference prior to the initial time\start time of the meeting, So what's the point of having a start time to the meeting in the web client if people can join prior to the start time?

Thanks.
Seth

Hi @sbrammer,

It's possible to edit the Calendar event which which is sent when creating the scheduled audio conference. You can edit the event then email the guests with an update if you'd like.

As you pointed out you can access the Scheduled Audio event prior to the event - this is how scheduled Audio conferences work at the moment. This does have a silver lining in this case; if you've needed to edit the date, there's no need to delete the event since you can simply edit the Calendar event then update your participants via mail and everyone will have access to the room earlier if needs be.

I use the web meeting feature many times a day to provide demos of our 3CX tools. I LOVE the fact that I can login well before the start of the conference. Please do not take that feature away. I use it to confirm my audio / video is working, and to grab a generic link without having to wait for the email. And it makes it possible to have an open conference throughout the day. I'm glad we have this option.
