Hi.

I'm having some audio issues. Here's my setup.

3CX Pro hosted by 3CX in UK
1 office location.
Yealink T54W as router phone
8 x yealing T33g Phones
12 users using 3CX apps on laptops with Yealink UH35 headsets

3CX app - 3CX apps, the audio is fine.
3CX app to physical phones, the audio is muffled
3cx app to external calls, the audio is muffled

So, I'm guessing the issue is in 3CX somewhere as I have control of the the first 2 caling scenarios.
The headsets are used with teams as well and there's no audio issues then.

I'm in touch with my SIP supplier to find out thier preferece of codecs so I can match that and hopefully remove another possibility.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Has anyone got any ideas as to how to combat this?

Thanks in advance

Hi @Novum Live

What is the VoIP provider that is used for this PBX?
If you enable call recordings and download a recording from a call that has muffled audio, does the recording also sound muffled?

Hi.
I'm using spitfire which is a recommended SIP suplier for 3CX.

I will try recording calls and see what happens.

I've just been communicating with the office and I think it may be the noise cancelling settings in the headsets which make the mic placement essential to good audio. A cm up or down and I start losing the audio.

So now the googling to find out how to combat this!!

In this case, please check the audio canceling option and the recordings and let us know.

Hi. it ended up being the noise cancelling settings on the headsets. They are very sensitive to the mic placement in noiser envrinoments.

A little bit of training and awareness and everyone seems to be happy agian now.
Thanks for the help.
