Hi

I have an instance of 3Cx installed on a dedicated linux box (hosted at Scaleway/Online/Dédibox in France and I'm mysefl on a 10G fiber connection) that was working pretty well since two months ! Since around a week, ten days, it became very boring to use as I have some micro-cut in audio as if I was on mobile phone ! Whatever it's incoming ou outgoing calls it's exactly the same ! Tried with Firefox and Opera but same ! I have rebooted the Linux box that hosts 3CX but no changes too :(
No changes have been done in configuration that could explain the problem and nothing has changed too in my DID/VoIP provider as far as I know ! Any ideas what can be the problem or find out where is the problem ?
If I use android client on my cellphone problem is nearly the same so looks not to be in relation with the webclient but more a problem on 3CX itsefl :/ Version of 3CX: 16.0.8.9.

Thanks

Vincèn

Hi @vincen,

Does this happen with internal calls over the same LAN (not using WiFi)? Try and calling one extension to another, that are both on the same LAN, do you hear any audio problems? If not, this means the LAN connection and the PBX are both healthy.

Next thing to try is to call extension to extension, but have one of the extensions not local to the LAN. Does the issue occur?

Impossible to do because as indicated above 3CX is on a server in a datacenter and I have only one extension on my 3CX too ! I called voicemail and didn't notice any problems

Will have to create a second extension to be able to test that, will let you know results ;)

Thanks

Thanks for clarifying @vincen, let me know the results of your testing.
