Hello all-
We are demoing the 3CX software to determine whether or not to implement it in our organization and offer it as a solution to our customers. In our testing we originally started with a Grandstream GXW4108 and has lots of echo/popping issues during a conversation. I have now installed an AudioCodes MP-118 FXO and followed the directions on the 3CX Supprot site for setting it up. There are two issues I am having and I'm not sure if they are related.
1) When I make a call to PSTN, there is about a 2 second lag from the time that the remote (PSTN) answers the call, to the time that I am connected to the conversation. This causes me to miss the person that answered the call saying "Hello ?".
2) When I make or receive a call to/from the PSTN, the conversation is clear and works well. When the PSTN (remote) side of the call hangs up, the call does not get disconnected at the 3CX. The MP118 shows that the port is not active, but there is still an RTP session with it. I have to end the call on my IP phone before the line is released.
NOTE: I have toggled the "reverse polarity" and the "current disconnect" options and the problem still existed.
3CX Phone System Version3.1.2434.0
MP-118 Version 5.00A.035.003
Is anyone else using the MP-118 with 3CX and what did you do to correct these issues ? If you are not having problems, can I get a copy of your config file to see what's different from mine ?
Thank you.
