Hello guys, I want to know if there is some setup to make a control of usage of ip phone, I mean to know who inside the company is making what call. Example before the call be routed to out it asks for the caller the user id and password compare it in database and register that that id is making a call in report.

Use extensions with hotdesking?

Hi @Aivar,

You could also go the Route of Enabling PIN Protect for X seconds per extension. This would work by each extension having their own Voice Mail PIN number, when wanting to dial out, they dial 777 (default, could be 7777 if you selected 4 digits on your PBX), enter their PIN and then receive a 'window' defined by the 'Enable PIN Protect' For X seconds' to dial the number they'd like to.

Note that: Outbound rules are followed, and emergency numbers are exempt.

My goal is to know who is making outbound call in ip phone not to control the ip phone. Could u get? See in office there is a ip phone device and is the one allowed to make outbound call, but in office there is more than one worker. I would like to control and know who used the phone to make outbound call.

As far as I can think of, Hotdesking is the only real option here.
I suppose you could also consider building something with the Call Flow Designer that you would dial, authenticate users, etc, but still for this you would need a Pro key or higher.
