Is it possible to have the app automatically minimize when logging into Windows?

Legacy App? Not natively. I wrote a custom app that launches at startup and looks for the app by title bar name and then minimizes it. You can replicate this with any number of scripts/automation tools - here's an example in powershell: https://gist.github.com/Nora-Ballard/11240204

Hi @Doozer,

Which client are you using and referring to? Can you send me a screenshot of what is popping up on startup?

The full app in the maximized position. Latest desktop version.

Hi @Doozer,

I'm afraid that the new Desktop App does not include the option to have it open minimized. It does not adhere to the Windows Minimizing options when checking the properties of the shortcut and I'm not aware of another way to do this, regarding editing backend files.

You can always leave a shortcut icon on the desktop / taskbar and have it not launched maximised on startup.

My workaround method should still work - just never tested on the desktop app - of using a script to locate the window by name and send the minimize command.

Heya, do you perchance have the app to hand at all on github or similar?

I used to use https://www.nooblet.org/blog/2020/automatically-minimize-3cx-phone-for-windows/ but unfortunately this doesn't seem to be working any longer.

Thanks!
