Hi Team!

I have a new client to 3CX that currently has a new 3CX system that is Sync'd and SSO'd to Azure AD.

The environment is Windows Computers that are Azure AD Joined and 3CX Softphone is Install by Intune (Endpoint Manager)

I want to be able to auto provision the softphone so that when ever a user logs into a computer, it will use the users Azure AD Creds to sign 3CX into their extension. Has anyone had any success with this?

HI

This is not possible I'm afraid, the account credentials used for the 3CX app for Windows are the SIP Auth and password, which in any case are not visible from the Admins webclient in a Start-Up version, but also the 3CX app for Windows is provisioned using the config file found in the welcome emails sent to the users, this is available up to update 7.

It can not be connected to a 3CX user account without this config when trying to provision the app remotely. Locally to the PBX, same lan, the apps can be assigned to the users via PNP, which in this case is not an option.

Additionally, they only need to use the config file found in their welcome emails one time to provision the app, then every time they log in to the PC the app will be available and connected to their 3CX user account.

If for example, the users log in to different computers then you can use roaming profiles to sync the user's profile to whichever computer they are logging in to. The 3CX app for Windows profile data is stored under C:\Users\%appdata%\AppData\Roaming\3CXPhone for Windows.
