Hi

I am running on 15.5.3849.1, and my yealink phones are not auto provisioning.

When i look in the provisioning directory, there is no CFG files that relate to any mac address on the network

Any ideas?

If this is a brand new installation and you are trying to provision using PnP run the Firewall checker first. I have had to this on a couple of installations now to get this working.

FYI configuration files in v15 and above are created on the fly, so if provisioning does not work then you wont get the cfg files.

In this version the cfg files are generated on the fly, so you will not see any files

Need more info, on your setup

Is 3CX hosted or a local network install. If hosted are you trying to use stun or SBC

Have you read the documents of provisioning yealink phones -
https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/

Trying to do on the LAN.

The phone is visible on the phones page as a new device, however try to assign the extension, nothing happens. Should it be showing up in the logs saving pushing the config out?

Firewall check is ok

So after assigning the phone to an extension, does it show under extension in green

if not I would do the following on one phone

Delete the config of the phone within 3CX, Extension -> Select the extension -> Phone Provisioning -> Select the correct mac address of the phone (you scroll thru the list, by the arrow 'Your Phones' -> Click on Delete

Factory default the phone, by pressing the OK button

Update the firmware - info here depending on the model of yealink https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/

Provision the phone to the extension

Are you running 3CX on Linux (Debian) or windows

I would also look into upgrading to SP5 - Build 15.5.13103.5

Windows server, have put the firmware back to where it needs to be. Factory resetting handset again.

I am already above that version?

15.5.3849.1

When it boots up, it says sending prov request, then says update skipped.

This is correct, you should now see the phone 3CX Management console -> Phones in bold text.

Highlight the phone, and select either 'Add Ext' if you need to setup the extension from scratch or 'Assign Ext' to add to an already configured extension

Yep, it is assigned to the phone mac address. Nothing happens from there

Just re- assigned.

THe phone LED blinked red a few times, then nothing

Will do that tonight, when everyone is off the PBX.

It hasn't previously let me upgrade via the update section, might need a fresh download & install

Once you add the phone to an extension you should get a provisioning link under the phone provisioning tab. Make sure that the link contains the correct IP and provisioning folder
