We believe we have the option to have an extension auto switch to available during business hours configured correctly, however it is not working. The employee switches to away during business hours and the extension stays that way.

I set the extension with it's own office hours after the global did not seem to impact it, and confirmed the system is set up with the correct time zone.

I read something about this possibly not working if the custom status's are configured, which our initially were however we cleared them out. We even rebooted the server after hoping it might need that to update, however still, when she changes to Away it does not switch back to Available.

Am I misunderstanding how this is supposed to work or can anyone provide anything else for us to check? It's really becoming a problem.

This is a Hosted Enterprise version of 3CX.

The option will not work if you use a custom status, will only work with the default status. Other question. Are you on the newest version? I am missing this option in the version 18.0 Build 965.

How does this feature work?

If you define the out of office time from 20:00 to 06:00 the extension will switch to "do not disturb" at the triggerpoint 20:00 and switch back to "available" at 06:00. If you create the rule after this time it will not trigger. The system needs to drive into this trigger.

In U4, the setting has been moved to the Webclient under Status > Status Scheduler.

U5 Beta has a Admin section in the webclient for users with the rights to edit other users.

Thanks for the hint, was looking for this option this week and have not found it in the normal 3CX Client.
