Since the last thread was locked, this thread is being made to continue discussing any workarounds or ideas pertaining to automating provisioning for the new Desktop App. This is crucial the new desktop app adds much-needed encryption to the softphone.
I have settled on using a QR code reading extension and going to each extension's general tab to read the code to get the provisioning links for each user and using these commands in order to get the client provisioned so the end user doesn't have to sign into the webclient. It's quite a shame that provisioning links don't work for the new desktop app.

3cxdesktopapp.exe tcx+app:INSERTLINK
There has to be a better way. Is there anyone else who has thought of something better or is there something in the pipeline coming to rectify this missing feature?
