Hi All,

We have an RMM tool installed on our Debian system, this appears to be blocking the update.

Is it possible to include this in a list of services to stop and start before and after the update?

Many Thanks for any help offered

Hello alliance5,

As you may know, 3CX will not support you install anything on the 3CX servers, espacially if it does interfere with the opperation of the system (like updates).

There is also no information to help you with the question?
What type of system do you have, OS, Version, RMM used ?????

Blocking what update?

if your RMM is blocking the update, configure the RMM to not block.

IIRC, having additional/third party repos configured can cause problems.

Hi - it is not blocking the update, all it does it report the status back to a dashboard for us to monitor.

I checked the update log, and it was reporting that 'packages have unmet dependencies' and 'You might want to run 'apt --fix-broken install' to correct these..'
So after a backup and running the command above, it removed the package without the dependencies, and the 3CX updated to 20.0 Update 8 (Build 1121 Release) without any issues.
