Automatically adding outside line access number

Our receptionists have access to the queue via the web browser client. When someone rings in and they miss the call, the call gets logged with the calling party's area code + number (e.g. 01 234-5678). But when they try calling back the user by clicking on the number, it gets dialed as-is, without the leading outside number line so the call does not go thru. How can we addthe outgoing line number to the number (e.g. 1 01 234-5678) prior to the call being made?

Is your PBX specifically set up to require the leading 1 to route externally (ie you have an outbound rule that requires that be prepended)?

The webclient itself doesn't have a way to add a number, but there's one of two workarounds:
- Remove the requirement to dial 1 to route out (I imagine that you could have the same issue with people trying to ring contacts from their phonebooks unless they're entered with the leading 1 as well)
- Set a inbound caller ID reformatting rule (in the SIP Trunk config, under Options tab), something like source pattern (.*), replace pattern 1\1, which should automatically add a leading 1 in the call history and allow users to click to call.

To be honest we only implemented that outside line access number because that's how the old PABX was set up and people had gotten used to it and we wanted the change to be as transparent as possible to the users when we migrated to 3CX.

No harm I guess in adding new rules to allow direct dialing out.

Thanks!
