Autotask notification to 3cx SMS

Hi gurus, any idea how we can implement SMS notification(from Autotask) to send to a 3cx Extension as SMS?

So you need to make Autodesk send SMS messages, and then 3CX receive SMS messages and those received be forwarded to an Extension?

Hi, forget the Autodesk/Autotask part as I can send them to any EMAIL. the goal is for 3CX tp capture an email and forward it as SMS. Thanks in advance.

That isn't possible with 3CX first and foremost because all SMS needs to be sent by a person, we don't permit sending of an SMS via API.


Generally though, I think that for this kind of integration you want to do (Email to SMS) you might want to find some other software that is specific for this and you communicate directly with the SMS Provider APIs.

Yes were looing for a SMS gateway/API provider. just thought #cx have better option

3CX uses providers anyway, so you'd need one. Something like Twilio or Telnyx would work just fine.
