Avaya 9641G - Empty SIP Proxy server list

Hello,

from 2 days ago I have a probleme to connect an avaya 9641G phone, the message error is : Empty SIP Proxy server list, I updated 3CX to 18.0.6.908 two weeks ago.

Please note that these models are legacy and no longer supported and cannot be provisioned by 3CX:



In the past it was also possible to provision them manually, but since we increased the security requirements of the AuthID I think this will not be possible either.

It seems that the latest update of 3cx has caused problems for all users with Avaya 9600 handsets.
A major oversight.

With the newest beta, you might be able to provision them again since you can use weak SIP auth again.

Good news is that beta version become stable - usually within a month or so - and so this might just be a temporary setback.

Also keep in mind Hosted by 3CX and StartUP are 2 separate systems and I could be wrong, but hosted might be able to do beta versions. StartUP for sure you are at 3CX's mercy.

Your right, but this has been a problem for a long time and 3cx did nothing to fix.
We have now cancelled any transfers and gone elsewhere.
Unfortunately we are all at 3cx's mercy with the way they change the software and deprecate phones willy-nilly.
I suppose that's what happens when customers are not taken into consideration.
