Hi All,
I had a cloud hosted instance of 3cx become unavailable from AWS Lightsail this morning. I can no longer ping the FQDN or hit the web page for the admin console. I have rebooted the Lightsail server twice to no help. As of now it looks like this installation is dead and i am spinning up a new instance, but I would like to know what went wrong. Since i can not see a log, does anyone have any insight as to how i can determine what caused this very odd and catastrophic issue?

I suspect that your instance changed IP and your FQDN is still pointing to the old one.
- Check to which IP your domain resolves
- Check your instance's IP
Do they match? If not, which one has changed?

Can you access your instance via https://YOUR_IP:3CX_PORT/ ? (If yes you will get a certificate error but that's normal)

Since you can access the instance, login via SSH and check whether the 3CX services are up and running?

I'm on lightsail too, never got this behavior. Is it a new subscription or something running from months?

As Florink said , try to nslookup your fqdn and see which public ip returns

Got same issue this morning, server was working fine up until 20 mins ago, server is up (I can ssh into it, although dont know what commands to put in) the IP has not changed, but cannot connect to the web interface using the IP either, and the sip trunks have also become unregistered.
No idea where to go with this one now.

if the machine is up (and you can find the public ip it currently holds via Amazon dashboard) you should be able to access it via IP as @florink said using "https://1.2.3.4:5001/".

Adjust your port accordingly in case yours uses different one.

Nope, could not access it via the IP (first thing we tried). Gave up with AWS and put it in google now.

Fair enough, the only alternative would be to SSH into the machine (if it was still running) and investigate directly whether services are up.
