back to free edition...

Hi.

I have 3cx v5 installed... i want to activate the DEMO key to test the Quene Setup.

Now i want to turn back into free edition. How to change the license key to free version ?

just enter a empty key and press submit

error message saying "License Key Not Found License: System:"

This should work. (Did it for me)
Backup your system, uninstall, install and load backup again.
For some reason my backups never remebers key.

Then you probably just have to wait until demokey expires...

As long as you have backup this should not take mre than 15-20 minutes thoug. o

solution to return to free edition

simply remove the following file:
C:\Program Files\3CX PhoneSystem\Bin\Apache\3CXLicense.bin
and restart the service "3CX PhoneSystem"

If you delete the license file and restart the 3CX services your PBX will go to FREE version mode.

The is the file I am refering to;

\3CX PhoneSystem\Bin\Apache\3CXLicense.bin
