Good Day,

We have our 3CX in an Active - Passive setup with a backup server in Europe. We backup the active server nightly and restore it in Europe. They are 5 hours ahead of us.

We have some scheduled call reports that go off at 6PM our time, but we're getting two copies emailed. The second copy has a time of 1PM on the email. I'm suspecting the backup server is generating reports as well, as the call report list on there says 1 PM.

How can I stop the backup server from doing this?

Thanks.

Hello @Shadragon

What PBX version are you running on both instances? You can see the exact build number on the Dashboard, under the Information column next to the licence version. For example 15.5.15502.6.

Primary - Enterprise Annual 15.5.15502.6
Backup - Enterprise Annual 15.5.15502.6

I think changing the time of the reports to after the restore takes place, would solve this. We also have a fail over system and all call reports happen in the Yesterday mode at 4 AM, this gives time for the backup, and restore to complete. The passive server has services off, and will not send any emails.

You nailed it, our services were on.

Which service generates the emails?

If the is a setup as a passive server, restore without turning back on services see images

Hi TBWD,

Great images, thanks. My restore screen is set up like that. I don't have an event viewer service, and have a AudioProvider service, but all others conform to your pic.

Are you on SP6?

Version numbers above. I believe I have the latest and greatest version.

Users report they are still getting 1PM reports.
